Berry Cherry Jubilee, from the lades over at SimpleGreenSmoothies.com. |
The Berry Cherry Jubilee piqued by interested, and just happened to include ingredients I already had on hand: berries, cherries, banana, spinach, chia seeds and water. It's sweet and refreshing, perfect for spring as the weather begins to turn warmer.
This was a family favorite with Lily rapidly slurping hers down. If you're looking for a sweet treat with your daily dose of greens, head on over to Simple Green Smoothies and check out this recipe and sign up for the challenge yourself.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteHow's your diet going now?
Mine is going well. Hubby and daughter are back to their carnivorous ways but I have found that meat/cheese isn't as appealing. I'm feeling great!
ReplyDeleteI litrerally just came across your blog and this is amazing. I'm 5 years post op and just had 6 reconstructive surgeries in 2014 to remove excess skin from my 200 lb weight loss (okay, and to get a new set of "girls" too!). But, like you, I developed reactive blood sugar issues and I also have serious migraine problems as well now that I've lost all the weight. So, in an effort to reduce the blood sugar drops (and fainting spells) and migraines and to stop taking the migraine meds...I'm going vegan starting February 1st - I'm spending the next couple of weeks collecting recipes, preparing my home (and family) for the new life change, etc. This has been an awesome read and you are awesome!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Dana...and thank you for the compliments! I would love to hear how your experiment goes. If you need help with meal planning, I've gotten a lot from the Happy Herbivore meal plans (www.getmealplans.com). I was a monthly subscriber but just recently upgraded to her annual membership. I like it because she sends out a meal plan every week, complete with shopping list, substitutions, etc. Good luck to you!
